This is after i have tolerated the cursing, fighting, screaming at 2am. Now that the weather is better i find myself calling the non emergency police 7 at least once week.
I moved in during the winter, while most people keep to themselves, there are a LOT of people that simply hang out on their front stairs. You can get much more bang for your buck at other surrounding area complexes with more decent clientele.Ībsolutely agree Onthego12345. The main office tries to keep peace and hold on to good tenants by diligently handling any issues that arise, but who wants constant issues? Also there is no central air or balcony/patio. All in all, its pretty safe but agravating as heck. I've noticed that all the good kids stay in the house because there's too many bad ones outside. The crime is not bad since police are always patrolling but they don't protect you from prying maintenance men. The closest one, right next to the complex, is a poorly achieving school with teachers who look down on the students and parents who live in the complex because of the stigma. This complex is still making a comeback and is in that in-between stage of half indecent, half decent tenants.The complex has two elementary schools assigned to it.
The children are bad as heck and children in the surrounding area come by to cause trouble as well because they know of the poor history and think they can get away with it. The complex has a bad history of drugs,etc and although much of it has been cleaned out, there are still of lot of people like that left and some eateries will not even deliver to the area. First off, these are not townhomes, they are old, poorly remodeled, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments. Especially if you have children, do not move there.
